Around late 2010 I made a remix of the Homestuck theme “Showtime” which I then titled End Strife Remix. I was pretty fucking proud of it back then and it’s probably one of my more popular widely known works alongside the Cave Story remixes I used to make. Nowadays? I really, really don’t like it. The production was half-assed and it was overblown with too much loudness war. I was too obsessed with heaviness and it was the last track I made with that kind of mentality.

Despite this being an old shame though it was nominated for the second Homestuck fan album a while back, something I was totally okay with but I wasn’t going to give it up without giving it some remastering. Needless to say I don’t think I managed to do too much with it unfortunately and it took me a while to get everything back after my computer died. It’s an iffy thing when you’re trying to fix something up to appease both to yourself and the people who enjoyed it. I still don’t like what I did with this but eh, what can you do?
